TBH its not just his hair I can't stand, its all of him. He is such a 'try hard', he looks desperate to be cool. That stupid bit of chiffon that is always dangling off his belt... arrggghhh!
When I was at uni there were loads of lads like that, desperate to be cool, slightly hippy, a bit 'different'. It was acceptable at 19 or 20, but it said he was 34. I mean come on, drop the chiffon!

It does look better now they've trimmed it a bit and given it a bit more shape...

BUT dd's hair is pretty much like that when it's combed out so I have to disagree with the dirty/disgusting/unkempt type comments. It takes a lot of combing to get it that big, if you don't comb it then it just gets matted and matted=less big.

(note how all the people saying yabu have mixed race kids, it's just how (a lot of though not all) mixed race hair is ime)

My kids are mixed race and I dont like his afro. I dont think his hair is disgusting or dirty looking tho. I think he has a baaad hair style.

My kids hair would look like that if I combed it out. But I used to do that weekly before washing it. I would let them walk about like that .

His hair looks like he doesnt really know how to look after it. Mixed race hair can be very difficult to care for because euro hair products dont work and afro hair products are too heavy. It took me ages to get to grips with DD's hair. Well meaning aunties from OH's family would be absolutly sure they could sort it out but pretty soon learned it wasnt afro hair, it was mixed race hair with a unique texture and way of behaving!

I think his hair needs a treatment and a good styling.

But TBH most of the hair I see on X factor is so overstyled his is a breath of fresh hair (see what I did there?)
