i dont think this is such a problem with funny or chat style threads but when people are asking for help i find this really unacceptable!

I think it's fine to be flippant if it's a flippant thread

but if it's something serious I wouldn't bother to construct a reply if I hadn't time to read everything that had gone before

Mind you, once or twice I have been accused of NOT having read the thread on the grounds that somone didn't like my post - and disagreeing with them must mean one has failed to understand what they have said

Unacceptable???

I find it unacceptable when people write posts that are unintelligble because of really crap spelling and grammar and no proper use of capitals - maybe we need a rule about that?

ok ok ok i admit it... i am bored! i knew this would get a response so i posted.

truth is i usually read reams and discover that someone else has made my point so i dont reply.

before i posted this i had read a long post (serious plea for help) and been totally irritated by the first line of the first reply...'I have not read ll of this but...'
i just felt irritated because the op in this case had poured her soul out and deserved more respect IMO.

So anyway... moving on... i am ready to conceed that i am a sad fucker who thought it'd be fun to start a thread and get a slating i am no longer bored thanks and think now that as an experiment into who bothers to read and who doesnt... we should see what gets posted from this point on heres betting that the slating continues hehe!

sometimes i skim read, sometimes i just plunge in.some posts are not worth reading completely

i dont need to read 15pages of a sahm- working mum slugathon to know someone has said

"shouldn't have had them if you let someone else look after them"

I think Gas mark 3 is going to be too low, you need around 6 to make it cook

muddle78 · 27/09/2009 18:16
