He listens to audio books, and he mostly has one earplug attached to his hear, whether DD and I are present or not, he is only half present.

Great that he is a book worm. But it really bloody irritates me.

AIBU?

katisha he did once have his earphones hanging over his shoulder when he picked me up from work. I at him and he said 'it was on quietly' and I pointed out it was not even the ear to the passenger side. I gave him the biggest bollocking yet at that stage and he got the message as he looked suitably humbled especially when i told him I would skin him alive if I caught him doing it with our child in the car again.

We were in the kitchen about 1 hour ago. He had it in. I pulled it out. His reponse? 'what are you doing? that is so rude' I gave him a little piece of my mind then too .

So now, he is playing shite music loudly in the front room, reminiscing. Not sure what is worse actually now.

Blimey - he's mad. Even to have to be told you don't drive with headphones in...

Show him the thread!

He maintains I was bloody rude to 'yank it out' of his ear. Like it was some suctioned in thing, rather than a small white bit of plastic gently tucked there.

Apparantly I am getting on my high horse about nothing, and now he is indignant about it all as I walked in to the room when he was listening to the ipod, therefore I was being rude to suggest he stops as soon as I demand. He thinks I am nagging blah blah....I shall just let him listen to his poxy ipod, but he will have to go find it, I will listen to mine

We do watch the same actual television. But we like different things so often not at the same time we don't argue about radio in the car though, unless footie is on !
