Woman at the parent & toddler group has bought & wrapped all her xmas presents. How dare she be so organised!

AIBU to think she is a bit loony? my kids will change their minds about a million times about what they would like between now & December

she is clearly a loon.

However, I am a bit jealous of her organisational skills and the fact she can now sit back and smirk.

Would it be very wrong of me to hope that her toddler get into the presents and takes off all the tags so that she has to unwrap them all to work out who gets what?

bergentulip · 24/09/2009 19:18

nickshick - why on earth would you do your xmas cards in April????? Now, that is loony

bergentulip · 24/09/2009 19:21

deaddei - £75 is quite a lot to spend on one child isn't it? Or is it my turn to say 'bah humbug'?

Bergen because in a fit of 'organisation' that I now realise was linked to my unsuspected pregnancy (i was almost 4 months pregnant when i realised )I had bought beautiful cards v cheaply in the sales and had written them ready ......

skybright · 24/09/2009 23:25

I am very organized i have all the written Christmas cards ready for this Christmas somewhere as i could not be arsed giving them out last year.

Hmm - I'm 75% there, bought the majority of stocking fillers and a few of the big pressies. Started wrapping them last week - My feet don't touch the ground from Mid Nov till Mid Jan so its easier for me to be organised. Also will make 15 assorted Xmas cakes/puddings in there as well {{must be mad mutters to self !!!}}

hmc · 25/09/2009 00:09

I don't think she is a loon. Just different.

YANBU I have bought my first present for dd (in case they no longer sell it in december) and it pained me greatly. my dp is a January shopper and it makes me sick. I am not opposed to raiding the present box for forgotten birthdays in the meantime though
