To not have told the MW she might want to wipe her nose?

The last time I went to see my midwife, whilst talking to her, I noticed that she'd perhaps blown her nose, and...how can I put it...her nose needed a bit of a trim and there were remnants left ewwwww TMI? sorry

It was a pretty formal situation, so I couldn't really interrupt the flow of her asking questions etc to tell her, perhaps I should have tried hinting by touching my nose and raising my eyebrows as her lol

I hope someone would tell me if I had a similar 'problem', but thought I'd perhaps feel a tad mortified if a complete stranger said something. At what point do you know someone well enough to point something like that out??

It's no-win otherwise - they're either horrifed and embarrassed when you point it out (and you are too), or horrified and embarrassed later when they spot it themselves. I'm ashamed to say I'd go for saving my own embarrassment and not saying anything!

Oh DH always has this problem...I try to catch his eye in public and tap or wipe my nose, LOL, so he knows to sort himself out. Also if his flies are undone , a sharp downward glance is the signal!!!

I have to tell my dh at least 3 times a week. Then he has the nerve to get in a strop with me!

lol at the DHs, once you've noticed though, it's hard to ignore it.
