Complain to the companies you have purchased from. I'm sure they would be horrified and get another courier.

bodeniites · 23/09/2009 18:05

Dh has just came in he said he be could getting his parcels from a company like DHl/Parcelforce who then pass them on to him as a franchise driver. Check your parcels and see if there is another name on it. Then get in touch with them. He works for DHL and a lot of home deliveries are passed on like this.

NormaSknockers · 23/09/2009 18:09

Phone the courier company & complain, that's disgusting behaviour!

If you don't get anywhere with the courier company then phone the company who's order it was & complain to them. He sounds utterly vile - what a creep!

bodeniites · 23/09/2009 18:11

thank you and your dh cocolepew ill do that

Are you serious??? Definitely call head office if so. Speak to the MD if you have to. He sounds like a total perve and needs to be stopped. Just imagine if he went to a house where there was only a young teenager at home...

cocolepew · 23/09/2009 18:19

Good luck.

NeedCoffee · 23/09/2009 18:20

that is totally unacceptable, why wouldn't your DH answer the door for you?

oldraver · 23/09/2009 19:18

The Next man delivered early to me last week (I did comment lightheartedly he had only just caught me in) He asked not to mention it if I was asked as he would get fined £200 for delivering outside the correct time slot. Surely this warrants him having his franchise taken off him

Lizzylou · 23/09/2009 19:24

I know the type of courier you mean, the same lovely Lady delivers my Next/Boden/La Redoute/Verbaudet and other stuff...

YOu need to complain, you shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable on your own doorstep!

Tell your DH as well, and tell the stores he delivers for, they are predominantly female oriented so wouldn't want an old perv delivering for them.

CybilLiberty · 23/09/2009 19:34

Am I the only one who doesn't think this is THAT bad? Sounds like a poorly misjudged attempt at humour from courier to me

bodeniites · 23/09/2009 20:25

dh has just came in and says i have to order something else from one of the companies he delivers from and he will answer the door and when courier hands over parcel dh is going to ask him if he is not going to slap HIS bum god knows what will happen after that thank you for support when i needed it (mainly)

It isn't funny, it is outrageous. He put his hands on you in a sexual manner completely uninvited. You have a right to not be touched like that. If there is no company to complain to then I think you should call the police, with his name at least.

brimfull · 23/09/2009 20:32

I actually don't think it sounds that bad-but then again it didn't happen to me .
Sorry you were upset by it,but if it was me I would get my dh to tell him to bog off,or tell him myself.

CybilLiberty · 23/09/2009 20:32

It's not funny, you are right. But it's not worth reporting to the police.

ScaredOfCows · 23/09/2009 20:33

Really shocked - what a wanker (the courier, that is).

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 23/09/2009 20:36

Ring head office and complain

ThingOne · 23/09/2009 20:47

Definitely ring the head office and complain.

JustBe · 23/09/2009 20:54

You could report this as an assualt to the police too.

opinionatedmother · 23/09/2009 20:55

complain. that isn't on.

MmeLindt · 23/09/2009 20:59

His behaviour is absolutely not acceptable, please report him to the company. Hermes is a big company, they will have measures in place to deal with this.

MrsMerryHenry · 23/09/2009 21:02

Why wouldn't your husband answer the door when he knows about the lech? That sounds very odd.
