Well, I obviously appreciated 'waitingforfanjo' in the 'virtual' mumsnet thread a few weeks ago, (the one where Tombliboobs got her name from as well). I used to be raffyandted before that, but I liked the play on on 'Waiting for Godot'. And the fact it had the word 'fanjo' in it, which I have always yearned to utilise

There are loads of good ones I can't remember at the moment. There's one that's a play on 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' that I like...something like 'Fruitshoots and Heaves'...or 'Eats, shits, and Heaves'

Went to visit poor MIL in hospital yesterday. She has just broken her hip. She has suffered from severe mental illness all her life, which makes her a little difficult to cope with sometimes, but she was in remarkably high spirits yesterday, considering she's just had an op.

Anyway, we got talking about how she was feeling, and she said 'Well, the dr said at the moment I'm stable, but deluded'.

We all thought this was hilarous as she said it in such a 'matter-of-fact' way. And I thought, actually, that would be a great way to go through life so henceforth I'm going to become stablebutdeluded

I need a better name

My award for best name goes to Slubberdegullion, closely followed by Gibboninaribbon. FlymetoDunoon is excellent too as is anything with norks or fanjos in it. My names, on the other hand are very boring - I have no imagination. I'd love to see a list of nicknames used by MNers - is this possible?
