My friends assure me I am in a minority of one, and possibly mad to boot. But I do quite fancy him.

Isn't Putin gay??

I remember Ulrika went to number 10 a while ago and said Gordon Brown was a very, very sexy man and that she'd do him.

...mind you, it was Ulrika [smirk]

Babymakes4 · 09/09/2009 13:27

Inmylittlehead - can't help at all on GB the very thought turns my stomach but just wanted to say I (and my DH)thought I was the only person who slept with Radio 4 on all night but it seems I am not alone! I particularly like th little link jingles they do on the World Service ('From Bogata to Barcelona' etc etc) Started while I was BF but is now just a habit. My daughter sleep with a Disney CD on so is obviously genetic!

EyeballsintheSky · 09/09/2009 13:29

Didn't we have a thread a year or so back about his funny mouth and his abilities to...well...do rude things with it?

Ondine · 09/09/2009 13:32

I genuinely think Vladimir Putin is as sexy as hell. Fear must be an aphrodisiac to me .

Gordon Brown is just repellant!

Obama is such a geek, I find him almost as unattractive.

stressed2007 · 09/09/2009 13:34

oh dear.

BalloonSlayer · 09/09/2009 13:35

Ulrika?

"Not exactly discerning" springs to mind

Bleh · 09/09/2009 13:36

Putin, gay?! No way. He's married with children, but maybe ... he does seem to protest a bit too much ...

nigelslaterfan · 09/09/2009 13:50

yes yabu

that's just boaking of you

curiositykilled · 09/09/2009 13:52

each to their own I guess!

putyoursocksON · 09/09/2009 13:58

GB is like the boy in VI form who wore his blazer on non-uniform day. Something about that is a bit alluring I think, maybe because it's a challenge....

daftpunk · 09/09/2009 14:06

yanbu...i prefer him to obama, but i like "interesting" looking people...

LadyoftheBathtub · 09/09/2009 14:18

Speaking of which, putyoursockson -

yikes!

I do think he's a bit tasty, but now rather than then methinks...

happywomble · 09/09/2009 14:22

YANBU - I like him too!

putyoursocksON · 09/09/2009 14:25

that's a great picture. Just imagine him at the school debating club...many, many of the boys at my school looked like this.

Squidmission · 09/09/2009 14:35

Are you on rather strong medication at the moment? Sometimes it can bring on deluded behaviour.

I'm feeling rather ill after reading the op [runs to the bathroom to throw up]

preciouslillywhite · 09/09/2009 14:50

there was an old pic of him in the Guardian a little while ago, looking all student activisty and leftyshagtastic. Ding dong!

TsarChasm · 09/09/2009 14:57

YABU he looks and sounds like Eeyore.

TheCrackFox · 09/09/2009 15:02

Eeyore has more charisma.

InMyLittleHead · 09/09/2009 15:27

Babymakes4 - I can't sleep without Radio 4. I particularly like 'Sailing By' followed by the shipping forecast, then I go to sleep listening to the world service.

I've just remembered the best thing about having my taste in men - lack of competition.

OP posts:
happywomble · 09/09/2009 16:01

And what is wrong with Eeyore!!

LadyoftheBathtub · 09/09/2009 16:06

Exactly womble!

My DP has actually been nicknamed eeyore by some of his friends, now I come to think of it. My Gordy-lust is all starting to make sense...

InMyLittleHead · 09/09/2009 16:35

Thank you, LadyoftheBathtub, for confirmation that I am not a complete freak.

AliGrylls · 09/09/2009 16:49

Funny that. I had a strange turn about this time last year (just before I fell preggers). My mother thought I was off my trolley as did MIL. My DH is used to me having strange taste in men so just thought I was being normal.

There is something about GB's voice that I just can't put my finger on. However, since I noticed his glass eye the attraction has completely gone.

InMyLittleHead · 09/09/2009 18:09

Does he actually have a glass eye? I thought he was just blind in one eye because of a detached retina or something?

Still fancy him...
