And also, OP - if you 'can't and won't get over it' - why are you even bothering posting this question?

Get over it.

SerendipitousHarlot · 04/09/2009 14:28

I was a bit worried about the work filter mustrunmore - perhaps it would be better if I googled 'pole dancing small brown balls'

I can't find the ad either.

So in order to further the debate, I am going to go into the garden and perform an interpretation of what I imagine the ad to be like, with the webcam. I do so hope you can all see.

Think of it as "line dancing"

...washing line that is....

I have to spin round mine, to catch it in this wind.

GibbonInARibbon · 04/09/2009 14:50

Not seen the ad, don't do daytime telly, am assuming she wasn't rimming anyone or stripping? YABU

btw 'ps. pleese don't tell me to get over it or ignore it coz i can't and wont.ta.'
Have you an issue with your partner and lap dancing clubs perchance?

LovelyTinOfSpam · 04/09/2009 14:50

Did you all see?

I was brilliant. The neighbours came and watched over the fence and seemed very impressed. They said theyd never seen anything like it

whoisasking · 04/09/2009 14:55

I must admit to a bit of a moist gusset Spam, you absolute sex siren.

GibbonInARibbon · 04/09/2009 14:56

moist gusset

LovelyTinOfSpam · 04/09/2009 14:57

Oooh thanks whoisasking, I was pretty good wasn't I?

whoisasking · 04/09/2009 15:00

My favourite bit was when you got a bit confused, and changed from just doing a pole dance to doing a lap dance.

That badger's face was a picture!

LovelyTinOfSpam · 04/09/2009 15:05

Oh that's good, I wasn;t sure about that bit, glad you enjoyed it.

What did you think of the finish - eating a flake legs akimbo upside-down on the scooter? I hope I managed to pull it off.

NeverLeapfrogOverAUnicorn · 04/09/2009 15:11

Oh dear. Where is OP? Do you think we are all in trouble for not agreeing and she has gone off angrily?

LTOS - All very nice, but next time - don't wear a thong. Granny pants my dear. Granny pants.

bunnybunyip · 04/09/2009 15:24

As much as I like maltesers, I do find some of those ads a bit iffy. worse is the one where she sexually harasses a clown.

mustrunmore · 04/09/2009 15:25

LTOS, you got it on you tube yet?!

whoisasking · 04/09/2009 15:31

I think the badger actually pulled it off.

(too far?)

claw3 · 04/09/2009 15:37

Havent seen the ad, is it that bad?

Im too old/lazy/uncool to look on Tube.

MANATEEequineOHARA · 04/09/2009 16:34

Spam, you totally pulled it off. You made great use of the scooter, it was amazing

SerendipitousHarlot · 04/09/2009 17:02

Bollocks. I missed the pole/lap dance

LovelyTinOfSpam · 04/09/2009 17:18

Gosh this is so exciting. The scooter move was ambitious I admit, but seems to have gone down a treat!

Maybe i should consider audition for britains got talent?

Rosesinautumn · 04/09/2009 17:32

There are a many things that are objectionable about those Maltesers ad's (god I really want some now), namely the weirdo ornament playing, clown molesting, husband abusing, Gnome worrying psycho that stars in them, I think the vague shimmying that goes on round the washing line pales into insignificance. YABU.

imamumof3 · 04/09/2009 17:53

I've seen the advert the woman is fully clothed and just teasing her on screen husband which I found quite funny, My children were not fazed by it at all. It's not exactly pole dancing though. It's just a woman swinging on a pole, not what you see in the clubs. I think people just like to complain about things that are not important. Children see and do worse things than the woman in the advert.

shazzg · 04/09/2009 18:10

ofcourse i swing round mine - but only when i'm high on maltesers.
i was making the point that some of the vulnerable women i work with have been involved in te pole dance and lap dance trade and they would no go back to it for many hideous reasons.

Why do peple get soooooo nasty on mumsnet - if someone was that vile to my kids at school i'd be gutted (and it would be bullying???)

bye for now - kids to bath etc.....have spent too long on here already and i think maybe a few others have too.
