Personally, no I don't think the threads are about nothing in particular. There's no comparion between this and a load of fed-up women leaving one internet forum and setting up their own place to play. Up to them but totally different to the DM issue IMO.

Yes, the banks will credit check you. They might still give you an account though...I know that Barclays use Experian, where my good credit rating is, so that is a relief for me! But it has to be sorted for things like leasing equipment.
