ridiculous ! Not boasting but we could afford to pay £69 for (some) of our 4 dcs items of clothing but wouldn't dream of doing so. I mean why ?? I sometimes think people who overspend on designer kiddy wear have some massive insecurities re their image to the world at large. Similar to flash car and massive telly and X boxes galore etc when struggling to pay for decent food. get your priorities right ! Even nice party or wedding outfits for kids can be bought for much cheaper.

my DD has a kenzo jacket..

which cost £1.25 from charity shop!!

I have some expensive items for my DD, but I have bought them in 75% sales or from Ebay as ridiculously low prices. For example just bought a gorgeous Monsoon thick velour long sleeved dress with hood (for winter) in perfect condition, ideal for winter, badly advertised on ebay for £4.00. It would retail I guess at about £40+ ? Would not buy it at this price.

I have a friend who loves dressing her dd in all designer stuff but the poor child isn't allowed to get dirty or paint on her clothes as most need to be dry clean. What a life!!
