This isn't about favourite ever food or death row dinners.

But what little something to nibble do you really fancy right now, this very minute?

Me: 4 cornish wafer crackers with unsalted butter and marmite.

And you?

Pregnant & on holiday in France - so would have to be some unpasteurised mouldy cheese, baguette and half a bottle of red wine! On reflection maybe the cheese doesn't sound that great but the wine would definitely be welcome!

scottishmummy · 28/08/2009 22:16

we all love french toast

oldraver · 28/08/2009 22:17

I really really fancied some Mousakka. I went to the Co-Op and they dont have them fresh or frozen. I dont usually do ready meals but jsut fancied this

Waitrose is too far and not open

oldraver · 28/08/2009 22:24

Spooky! I just logged onto mumsnet and was going to post about how tragic it is that on my first night home alone for around ten years when I could indulge in whatever I choose (wild night out, huge takeaway, booze and goodies galore, I chose to...............
Stay in,
Watch Big Brother,
Eat a whole malt loaf (kids hate this) with lashings of butter, beans on granary toast (Kids also hate this) followed by a cheapo trifle from Sainsbo's (they hate this too).

I did fantasize about going shopping for something exotic to eat but couldn't think of anything I love more than good old beans on toast, mature cheddar and spice it up pepper stuff on top.

I had a glass of wine but just the one coz I've got fussy in my old age and I can't find anywhere that sells my fave Gallo Columbard Chardonay anymore.
