Been looking after ds today and just wish, after a full and more year of this shite, somebody would come into my house and say 'relax...yes drink that wine...I am going to look after ds for a few hours while you remember who you are and what life is'....

No family. No h. No in-laws. Plenty of wine and a bloke-less weekend. Not that I mind the bloke bit. I just wish somebody would remove my brain for a few hours

thanks and given that invite I am going to whinge. I mean, I am always on my own. ALWAYS. I have friends who are divorced and they say 'I know what you mean about doing it all alone...last week xh only had dc for sat and sun night and didn't do the friday' and others who say 'dc is with dad this weekend..fancy a pissup??' and I say 'no, because my dcis not with his dad because his dad is shagging abroad and therefore I can't just up and out for a few pints. In case you haven't noticed' then THEY get the hump with ME because they think I am being critical of them. WTF???

I was an honorary LP for 9 months with 2 little dcs when dp was in hospital.Limited family and other support.

There are no days off,it is like groundhog day every day with no time off when your OH gets back from work or whatever.
