As this morning while completeing my usual domestic tasks and making a cake. I updated my friends around the country (and outside it), with a pic of dd2 holding herself upright for the first time and also exchanged messages with a beloved school friend now back in the former Yugoslavia. I mow know she is happy and well and married with children and even what they look like.

Living far away from my friends with very small children and not being able to drive Fb has offered the opportunity to keep in to keep in touch. What is not to love about that?

Probably loads which you will swiftly remind me of. Like the fact that my ability to do household tasks well while pootling on my iPhone is probably limited etc.

i personally found that FB has its down sides - such as being found by people id really rather not find me, so i also zapped my account! twas fun while it lasted but i found i wasted almost as much time on there as i do on here....(!!)

I really like it too, I see pics of friends children, see how they are feeling when I don't have time to ring or email, it's great. I don't like all of the games though so have stopped being told about that.
