Have been offered the chance of Muse tickets for a tiny gig on my EDD, it would be an amazing evening. The gig would be an hours drive away. DH and I LOVE Muse.

Our other DCs would be with respective exes, so no babysitting issues. I am fairly certain that we would be able to re-sell the tickets if the baby turns up early.

So AIBU/mad?

BGM - DH is a member of their fanclub so we got an email letting us know the gig was on and that we could buy advance tickets today.

DH HAS JUST GOT CONFIRMATION THAT WE HAVE 2 TICKETS FOR FRIDAY NIGHT

Well done! I suppose with such small gigs all the tickets will probs get snapped up at pre-sale (to fan club members like your dh). I would love to see Muse at something like this. Never mind - roll on November. Have a lovely time

Well, I hope this concert venue has seats! Personally, I would be trying to minimise as many possible stresses as I could. For me, worrying about whether labour is imminent or not would be enough on its own, without the added dilemma about going to a concert.
But that's irrelavent. The tickets are bought, you have a Plan B to offload them if necessary. So go. Enjoy it. Gin
