Oh I was wondering how Katie Price did her washing.

Littledawley · 16/08/2009 11:19

My 93 yr old grandma bought a pink playboy bunny gift bag for DD's christening gift!! I guess she just thought it was a cute bunny!

sweetnitanitro · 16/08/2009 11:20

YANBU.

I loathe them. DD came with a Playboy towel aged 10 - it is now in the loft and will be discreetly disposed of the moment I think she has forgotten about it.

blinks · 16/08/2009 11:52

they seem to be marketing such things towards little girls.shuddering at thought of infant playboy-wear...

tis wholly unsavoury.

i have a feeling a large percentage of next door's stash belongs to the 40 year old mother though which seems like false advertising.

Someone I used to work with decorated daugher bedroom in playboy stuff for her 10th birthday

Oxymoronic · 16/08/2009 12:31

monkeypinkmonkey did she know it was the playboy bunny?

paranoidmother · 16/08/2009 12:45

My DH's Gran had lots of t-shirts with the playboy bunny on and it wasn't till they went to see her in spain that they realised and told her what it was.

I can't remember if it is Argos or where but they have a range of kids stuff with the Play Boy logo on and i'm sure there has been a thread on here about it before.

Just be glad theyre not on your washing line.

paranoid, my parents are similarly naive. they bring the phrase "criminal naivety" to mind sometimes.

sherazade · 16/08/2009 13:43

you are being absolutely reasonable!

HerBeatitude · 16/08/2009 13:44

I've explained to my DD that under no circumstances will I tolerate that symbol in my house, even if it is a present.

How unspeakably naff.

Paolosgirl · 16/08/2009 13:47

YANBU at all. Naff and deeply questionnable.

Ex neighbours little girl aged 8 wanted (and was going to get) her room done out in Playboy bunny stuff when they moved to their new house. You do wonder where some people leave their brains.....

Mumcentreplus · 16/08/2009 13:59

YANBU..I hate the stuff ..it's everywhere

Worst part about it is that it's sometimes aimed specifically at children..

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 16/08/2009 14:23

Ick. I know - playboy pencil cases - who buys pencil cases? Nobody over 16 and plenty of people under
