My 18th was hideous - I was horribly drunk. I wore a red jumpsuit (was the 80s).

DS1 and DD celebrated their 18ths "out", which suited me just fine. Except that DD's mate rang me at midnight to say she really thought someone needed to come and collect DD pronto...

How times have changed - we had a bottle of Asti Spumante and a cake for my 18th!

YANBU - how I long for those drunken parties being sick in the garden and kissing on the stairs.

Might organise one for my 30th - but then again, think the fun is the spontaneity!

Not sure DH or the 3 DC would approve either!!

I too would love a big mad house party for my 30th MrsToffeeCrisp but I don't think its a good example to set dd!
