To think that people who use this babyplanning service (?) have more money than sense?

I just saw a link to this site over on another thread, and read a few paragraphs before my brain started to ache with how pointless and a what a stupid waste of money doing this would be. Can people do nothing without professional help these days?

Do I just not get it? What am I missing?

Shall I set up a business helping people plan their next trip to the toilet? With a VIP package for anyone needing a poo?

WTF - an average BF "dirty" it's nappy 7 times a day??? None of mine were ever that frequent

and 13p for the average disposable nappy?? hmm - surely a bit more than that - or am I thinking of the Morrison pull-ups.........

I failed the quiz at the first question
What is a Baby Bjorn?

Well, one thing it isn't is a fucking sling, it's a carrier ackcherly....

I got them all right except the alcohol one, which is pretty good considering I am an old hag now. Perhaps I should pay them to help me google the right answer?

OMG, not that I'd look forward to an epidural anywhere but number 1 would be the least attractive option for sure!

FAQinglovely · 21/07/2009 14:55

well ackcherlya baby bjorn can be lots of things these days........

FAQinglovely · 21/07/2009 14:55

HG - my thought exactly - I crossed my legs just reading the question

Ha! I have friends who would have loved this if they'd known about it. They are definitely a case of more money than sense, both lawyers, both earning in the region of £250k a year, they bought absolutely every gadget on the planet for their ds, including the wipe warmer thingy, nappy wrapper machine, and two sets of furniture for their two homes (and two Bugaboos so they don't have to lug it on a plane) They must have spent in the region of £10k on that baby (the bugaboos alone would have been nearly £1500!)

Every time we called them to arrange going out or something, before the baby was born they were out shopping for the baby!

Average baby nappy thing is amusing, but I suppose once they ahve done the '10 days without pooing' thing and then exploded every hour for a week it does average out like that.....
