Just don't get it... all over facebook, people taking hundreds of pics of themselves in the mirror. WTF? Why do I want to look at 25 minutely different pics of you in the bathroom mirror?
Am i getting old? is it a young thing?

Mamazon, I've seen your profile pics and you look fab in all of them!!

I have a friend who documents everything on facebook. She had a pregnancy album with weekly updated bump pictures, the absolute worst bit was that she and her DP "staged" a shot of them going into their bedroom winking over their shoulders, as the first pic in the album - the caption was "It started with a kiss!"

I always know what she has been up to, as there is an album for everything. Including photos of the family getting ice creams from a van and going to the park. It had its OWN ALBUM!!!

I hope she isn't on MN...!

I never thought of covering a spot with my hands When I was a teenager I would have needed much bigger hands.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 15/07/2009 16:41

LOL Ive got one of those finger on chin shots on my cousins FB page it was taken when we were all very drunk and I hope to God I was taking the piss...
(its more than likely I was )

potplant · 15/07/2009 16:44

I just have a pic of me smiling at the camera.

I'm so out of touch.

TheChilliMooseisOnTheLoose · 15/07/2009 16:45

Yes indeed you are, potplant

rimmer · 15/07/2009 17:02

don't give up.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 15/07/2009 17:36

JemL that is truly horrifying. I don't think I could be their friend anymore after that!

hobbgoblin · 15/07/2009 17:41

Look here you barstewards! I am a single parent, I HAVE to take photos like that...Have you SEEN the ones the ruddy kids have taken of me in my best get up, HAVE YOU?!!!!!!!!!! I can't help that in the ones where I am pretending to be preoccupied and unaware of being photographed my arm gives the game away...

TheChilliMooseisOnTheLoose · 15/07/2009 21:01

Rimmer, are you still at it with the eyeliner?

TAFKAtheUrbanDryad · 15/07/2009 21:07

What's your stance on pictures of children as profile pics?

alicecrail · 15/07/2009 21:10

I don't think it is just teenagers sadly. Some of my 'friends' are well into their twenties and have hundreds of themselves like it

Rimmer don't forget to do plenty of outfit changes.......one in school uniform, one in vest top, another one in vest top, one in stupid little dress and for the finale, one in what they think counts as pyjamas, but if they ever tried to actually sleep in it they would garrott (sp?) themselves on the stupid little spagetti straps!

whew, rant over. As you were ladies

TheChilliMooseisOnTheLoose · 15/07/2009 21:11

Lots of people (me included) have children as profile pics. It means people don't have to look at my ugly mug.

MrsBadger · 15/07/2009 21:39

I like the non-picture profile pics

SIL has a smiley face drawn on her thumb; BIL has a jelly baby

rimmer · 16/07/2009 17:23

i got a cake as my profile pic which i made for dd's birthday
Update....Got fed up after first couple of pics, too knackered to bother changing clothes, but did brush my hair all the way over from under my ear over the top, major comb over alert.
Decided to have long bath and large drink instead. See I must be old, can't even be bothered with all that effort for couple of hundred grainey pics for my old school pals to perve over!!!!!

alicecrail · 16/07/2009 20:56

Oh yes, the exaggerated comb over! Did you have to hold your head on one side to keep it in place?
