Yeah I know what you're thinking, I've watched those documentaries too....

But I've tried every diet you can imagine... Weightwatchers, Slimming World, Rosemary Connelly etc etc, never lost more than a few pounds. Even when I got divorced I never lost weight. That was until I started breatfeeding DS. And now I'm starting to get nervous at the prospect of stopping, as I know I am going to balloon especially given the amount of cake/biscuits I have become accustomed to consuming on a daily basis.

So really, is it too much to ask of him? I mean nobody would need to know

David Walliams has that effect on me too.

lyra41 my DH is training to be a hynotherapist so I do believe that it is worth a shot. It has high success rates and the reason it probably isn't widely publicised is because it is expensive and it's not available (yet!) on the NHS (although it is apparently going to be mainstream in the future, like various other alternative therapies that already available on the NHS).

YANBU, I was thin as a pencil point when I bfed my dds. Too thin, in fact, something I used to think you couldn't be, so I stopped when both were 13 months. And then the pounds crept back on (was only a 10/12 before so didn't need to lose weight to begin with). But it was bliss eating cakes, biscuits and pork pies (my particular weakness) all day long with no payback except possibly to my arteries but I can't see them!

Good luck with the willpower when you do stop.

Just in case there was any doubt, I was of course joking! Although i have to admit the thought of secretly expressing forever has fleeting crossed my mind hee hee

I haven't tried hynotherapy yet but I think I have acopy of the Paul Mckenna book somewhere.. unread of course . God knows why my previous diets haven't worked

No, nothing else for it, the biscuits will have to go. I'm hoping you're all right and that chasing after a naughty lively DS will help me lose some weight!

Although my prefered option would be to keep having babies as suggested... sadly DP says only one more though!!
