Well you are in fact jumping to assumptions, even if this woman is a known user, just because she exchanges something doesn't mean it is drugs, you are assuming it is, hence, making an assumption.

Seeing as you are defending your own post so well, out of curiosity, what did you expect us to say?

violethill · 12/07/2009 18:14

I don't think she's got a clue what she's asking, never mind what she wants the response to be!

Maybe she needs some of those drugs. (Assuming they're drugs)

ilovesprouts · 12/07/2009 18:15

like i said i know 100% she was buying drugs its well known, so no im not assuming at all twas plain to see ,say what u like would you like it round your little ones i think not imnot getting into a row fgs

OP posts:
nickschick · 12/07/2009 18:16

Happens every day on my street .

same woman different cars, people report it nothing happens.

Boys2mam · 12/07/2009 18:17

No I would not like to see someone blatantly dealing outside of my house but your post did not make sense. Try punctuation. And check your spelling. Then we might be clearer on what the hell you mean

crazylizzy · 12/07/2009 18:17

I'm sorry but how do you know 1000% she was buying drugs at that moment if you don't mind me asking?

ilovesprouts · 12/07/2009 18:18

cheers vh i normally like your post no i dont do drugsand yes im assuming they was drugs

OP posts:
violethill · 12/07/2009 18:19

So, OP, what is it your asking?

Your OP asks, 'AIBU to witness a deal in daylight?'

Well, clearly not, since you couldn't help seeing what you saw when you let your dog in. Would be a little unreasonable to expect you to walk around with your eyes shut.

Or are you asking 'AIBU for not wanting to witness adeal in daylight?'

In which case, probably not

violethill · 12/07/2009 18:19

whoops sorry, you're asking!

ilovesprouts · 12/07/2009 18:19

for the last time its well known she gets cars to come to her house and do a deal fgs

OP posts:
HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 18:20

You say you're not getting into a row (well at least I think that's what you're saying), so why then ask 'Am I being unreasonable?'

ilovesprouts · 12/07/2009 18:24

filppin eck i only asked what you thought on the subject.maybe i wrote it wrong but theys no need to get on your high horse ,im not the only one who puts stuff not wrote properly on here and thought it was suposed to be friendly on here ,could of fooled me !!

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 12/07/2009 18:24

I doubt it's going to bother little kids- doesn't sound like she racks up a line for them or anything.

ilovesprouts · 12/07/2009 18:26

oh dear my spellings not perfect at all but never mind stick the boot in more ,

OP posts:
violethill · 12/07/2009 18:26

Calm down OP!
YANBU for not wanting to witness a drug deal in daylight. (Or any time of day for that matter).

But would have been a lot simpler to just ask that question in the first place!

KIMItheThreadSlayer · 12/07/2009 18:31

Phone call time police first then social service

violethill · 12/07/2009 18:34

It's not the spelling, OP, it was the question! I don't think anyone's sticking the boot in, honest! I really did not understand why you were asking a question which seemed to have a bleedin obvious answer!
It's like me asking, AIBU to open my curtains and see someone walking down the street. Obviously not.

Goblinchild · 12/07/2009 18:35

filppin eck i only asked what you thought on the subject

I think dealing in illegal drugs is a Bad Thing

Although where I used to teach, they were always dealing outside one of the clubs. Lads would sit on the wall, a car would pull up...gety the picture?
When I had to take my class swimming, they'd always stop and smile and wave us past so that I didn't have to cross the road with my crocodile.
The police set up an observation post in the school for a month and nabbed quite a few, but the kids knew quite a lot of the dealers out of school hours, they were local.
I was always pleasantly surprised when so many of the children didn't turn to dealing to make money once they were old enough, despite the sums involved.
I mean, I was driving a knackered B reg Ford, not a vectra or a porsche

4andnotout · 12/07/2009 18:40

I have drug dealers living opposite, either that or they have a lot of friends who leave their cars idling as they knock on the door, pay, recieve packages and then run back to their cars.

Amazing for a couple who don't work that they can afford horses, swimming pools, wooden play equipment

I don't think your average petty dealer makes much money put of it tbh.

junglist1 · 12/07/2009 19:35

No they don't make much some just do it to get free smoke so I've heard.
