My 3 year old watched some of this at nursey today. Am I being unreasonable at being concerned by this? I don't think I am. He said he was scared which to me is enough as I think I'm going to nursery manager on monday. But just wanted to check I wasn't being PFB? I checked and it's a PG which the bbfc say may upset younger and sensitive children. Thing is I only really let him watch cbeebies as this is directed at his age.

I had 6 weeks of sleepless nights after DD saw the trailer at the cinema (she is 10). No way should 3 year olds be watching this, what on earth were they thinking.

I work in a Primary School and our policy is only to put on U rated films for all the school. That is from nursery to Primary 7 (we're in Scotland).

I would definately speak to nursery. I wouldn't let my son go to see Narnia (PG) when he was 5. His school was going to the pictures and it was a whole school outing. When I spoke to the head she didn't know it was a PG she thought it was a U

brilliant film but too scarey for many 3 year olds (and older). the clue is in the PG bit - imo if a nursey wants to keep all the parents happy then it should just not show PGs (but, tbh, I'd query why they were showing films at all)
