It sooooo does not hurt, a little eye watering at the most, about the same amount of pain or less as ear piercing.

I would have mine redone but where i have Fibromyalga but nose is constantly bright red and i don't want to draw atention to it.

DP doesn't like nose piercings so i went and got my nipple done instead...no complaints yet lol

I got my nose pierced when I was 16 years old, about a week after I first met the man who became my DH.

I love having it, and wouldn't change it for the world. I have 9 piercings, would love more, but now DH is digging his heels in.... we're both getting older and more responsible.

I have two nose piercings on the same side and both done with a gun (had them since i was 17). This was no worse than getting ears done. The thought of a needle shoved through my nose doesn't sound very appealing

drowninginclutter Why on earth did they put the back on a nose piercing mine stayed in well without the need, There is no way on earth you could possibly get it off with two fingers.

I like little ones,especially the gemstones in white. They look nice no matter what age you are. Not keen on rings though, If you want it Definitly go for it.

If I had tattoos or nose piercings my dh wouldn't have ever spoken to me. I think he is still horrified by the fact I had my ears pierced twice (although I never ever wear the 2nd ones)

LilTulip At a guess the person who did mine was more used to doing ears so they just set the gun up the same way, stud in the front and back on the back.

I don't think mine would have stayed in without a back on though as I do quite often catch it on things. Also I would've forgotten it was there, blown my nose and ended up with an earing point stuck in my septum...

trinity - if you have it done properly none of these things will happen so please don't panic
