Need to rant - apologies in advance.

I live on a main road, near several takeaways and a general shop/off license. I have just witnessed a man driving by in his car, throwing his burger carton out of the window, which then elegantly bounced off my car and cartwheeled onto my front path. I clear the rubbish off my front path every week, and every week it gets just as choked up with other people's shit. Mostly takeaway cartons, sweet and chocolate wrappers, cigarette boxes and THOUSANDS of cigarette butts.

I once saw a woman driving a respectable and new looking family mpv full of kids. The front passenger window opened and a teenage girl threw her empty drink carton out onto the street. The woman didn't even flinch.

Who thinks it's ok to teach their kids that the world is their dustbin?

Rant over. Sorry.

Sometimes, I pick it up, and give it back to them, really smiley, and say, I think you've dropped something.

Only if they don't look too much like they might stab me, tho.

They usually take it, all bewildered.
