AIBU to find all the > fecking puke making.

This is usually accompanied loads of 'jokey' titles. yuck.

It really gets on my tits.

If you got someting to say - just say it!!

All this mundane crap does my head in.

It's so cliquey.

Seriously though what I love about MN ( I thought) that no one pulls any punches.

Sadly that does still apply but certain people are exempt.

Load of shite

exempt? certain people? who? As far as I see, anyone gets a pasting if they're being a twat. Now that's MN!

roneef · 30/06/2009 20:45

I tried that before.

some OPs are so up their own arses its weird.

I have / do take criticism but not everyone does.

I just get brushed off as a looney.

ARGGHH!!

It's so frustrating

isn't an "in joke" - it's an "aside" - or more to the point - thinking "out loud" to myself [grin[ (otherwise know as talking to myself - thankfully I don't tend to answer myself so I don't think I'm mad

Lizzylou · 30/06/2009 20:47

Don't get so wound up about it, honestly.

If someone irritates you on a thread either tell them or leave it. Or just don't click on those threads with annoying titles.

I don't think MN is anyway near as in-jokey as it used to be, too big now I think.

roneef · 30/06/2009 20:47

I wish that were true Hecate.

Have I told you I lurve your posting style ?

Just look at AIBU at the mo.

HOw can sausage and bacon be so riveting?

im still trying to work out how MN works....i have posted an AIBU thread that isnt really unreasonable but i was shamelessly attempting to talk to people and get people to talk to me....so far most of my threads have died a slow and painful death. i realise im a newbie but everyone does seem to know everyone else....its a bit intimidating!

so sorry if ive misused the AIBU board. i consider myself now told.

chat it is. and i can watch my chat threads die a slow and painful death too....

pickyvic · 30/06/2009 20:51

but i didnt post about sausage.

i posted about beans.

Lizzylou · 30/06/2009 20:52

I have to admit that I do hate the , it's used to represent sarcasm and it irritates the hell out of me! I'd rather be told to fuck off than have that stupid little face cocking it's eyebrow at me!

Didn't mean you Pickvic.

It's a childish put down in certain posts.

So do you not like anybody doing or one in particular?

FAQinglovely · 30/06/2009 21:12
Rhubarb · 30/06/2009 21:14

That wink can be sarcastic too!

Oh, and the smiley just after an insult, like it's a joke even though it clearly isn't.

roneef · 30/06/2009 21:14

One in particular Coco

It's really effective sometimes but OTT sometimes.

Just an observation.
