2 solid weeks of grunting, sweaty, dour, overpaid, athletes batting a sodding ball back and forth.
2 solid weeks of TV disruption.
2 solid weeks ove over hyped letdowns.
it is shit. it is bollocks. not everybody wants to watch the fecking tennis. not everyone gives a shit which miserable scot happens to be batting well that week.

I feel the same about all sport. I siply do not comprehend why people get so excited about watching other people run about after a ball, or hit one with a stick. And it isn;t just a case of 'if you don't like it, don;t watch it', it is the fact that people won't shut UP about it, that you can;t get a quiet drink without a telly in the corner of the room blaring out all the grunts and thumps and roars... the tennis is slightly less annoying than big football matches but that is all I can say for it (oh the utter maddening boredom of those summers when there is some or other big long lasting series of football matches on and NO ONE will shut up about it...)

YANBU - it is as dull as dishwater.

I tend to titter to myself as the grunting sounds like sex noises teehee..heeheehee
