...to wear a t-shirt with "Horny C*nt" written in bloody great letters across the front.

This was one of the fathers watching our sports day this afternoon, cheering on his darling DD and pushing a bright pink pram with a baby in around the field in full view of our 7-11 year old pupils.

oh just remembered i recently saw man wearing a t shirt with Jesus is a c*nt (full word) and a picture of Jesus and i thought you are just asking for trouble

When I first read the OP I was and judgy. I've re-read it and thought he sounds rather sweet, cheering on one girl and pushing round the other...

Maybe he is just a bit dim and exuberant in a Billy Ray Cyrus stylee...

Maybe he didn't realise how warm it would be and forgot which t-shirt he had on when he took off his jumper...

Maybe he has been to the Vagina Monologues and wants to reclaim the word...

NB: I picture him looking like Paddy McGuinness from Phoenix Nights / Max n Paddy.

If he wasn't standing there swearing and scratching his nuts and drinking Stella Artois then he may well have completely forgotten that he was wearing that particular t-shirt. Or it may have been the only thing that wasn't covered in baby poo or something.
Of course (depending on where you live) it's also possible that he doesn't speak much English and bought the t0shirt from a charity shop without actually knowing what it said.
So on balance I would suggest that you maybe get a life.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/06/2009 19:32

def blondes have more fun

and yes i actually like the word cunt, but obv its not approiate to use around children and def not to be worn so all can read it

their children must be so proud - not!!!

smartiejake · 23/06/2009 21:24

SolidGoldbrass-Nope English speaking and how anyone can think that a t-shirt covered in poo is more offensive than the c*nt word is beyond me.

OP posts:
SolidGoldBrass · 23/06/2009 21:34

Well, because 'Cunt' isn't that offensive to everyone. Some people just don't get particularly bothered by anglo-saxon terminology.

posieparker · 24/06/2009 09:42

'Cunt' is offensive to the majority, that's why he shouldn't have worn it. I would imagine the elderly and parents of small children old enough to read are the most likely to be offended...know your audience.
I got rid of all (3) t-shirts from french connection when I had my first baby, you know the ones with fcuk, just because the became brsh and horrid in the instant I became a parent.

Littlefish · 24/06/2009 10:07

Really inappropriate. At the school where I teach (state primary), I think the headteacher would have asked him either to change his shirt, or at least, turn it inside out. We don't tolerate swearing or abuse from parents, so why would we tolerate it being written for everyone to see?

mayorquimby · 24/06/2009 10:47

yabu, if ever there was a place to wear said t-shirt that was it.

BarefootShirl · 24/06/2009 11:32

I am a long way from being a prude and I can swear with the best (although TRY not to in front of DCs but that is just so offensive and inappropriate!

Coalman - can't deny I've worn boob tube and shorts on the school run though.
