you have to be so proud of yourself that you have raised a happy confident girl...

my dd also starts secondary this year

I also get lonely sometimes mainly during the day especially at school things where there are together mums and dads everywhere... and i think to myself surely my time has to come soon

Oh she already thinks she is cooler than me. Honestly he has the attitude of an 18yr old. God help me lol. She looks older too, have just added some pics to my profiel and she looks about 14 on some to me.

Fairlady, I suppose if i was still with xp and he was sleeping in spare room then i'd be glad of the space. It just becomes crap after 3 yrs and the knowing I can't change it is pants.

I do love my bed though and the tv remote, so it's not all bad

Ah cheekysealion, do you ever get fed up of people telling you that though ? That it is all just around the corner ? I know I do. This corner must be a bloody million miles away lol.

I so love that Dd1 is confident and so sociable. It will make all the difference to her as she grows up. Dd2 is more like me but will hopefully make better choices.

Ds is, erm, very individual lol.

dd2 looks like you too doesn't she

she looks like a proper young woman dd1! how do they get so old so quick! she looks tall too but now that you've said you are 5 2, it puts it into context a bit

NervousNutty · 20/06/2009 22:37

Yes Dd2 is the spit of me, poor girl lol. I always say that Ds looks like me too. I know he doesn't but I hate anyone saying he looks like his dad.

I think dd2 will have the shortarse gene and dd1 will be lanky lol.

yes i agree after being single for the last 4 years

recently thought my luck may have changed met a lovely bloke.. thought i would see him tonight we texted last night, he said he would let me know about tonight and i have heard nothing
I am useless at dating. so unsure whether to text him or to just leave him to it.. not really into game playing but worry about making myself to avaiable iyswim

NervousNutty · 20/06/2009 22:55

Can't offer any advice about that cheeky as I haven't had a single date since my split with xp 3yrs ago.

I find the whole dating thing too hard tbh and am not sure I will ever bother.

Fwiw, I wouldn't txt him, i'd wait and see if he contacts you again.
