To use a neighbour's unsecured broadband while I await my provider sending me a replacement router?

I have to admit to using a neighbours unsecured broadband when ours was down for a couple of weeks -I only checked my emails so as not to miss anything important though. I wouldn't have spent hours on MN or anything as that would have been a bit too cheeky.

We had an unsecured broadband connection. We were quick to password protect it when we realized where the cybercafe on the corner got its broadband from.....
