I know there's joking, but at 3.5yo?

Seriously? Would you giggle/laugh question you're 3.5yo Dd about her 'boyfriend' at Nursery?

My Dd is 3.4yo and I certainly wouldn't!

The girl was saying ;

Mum -"Ohh, what's you're boyfriends name then?"
Dd - "Layton"
Mum - "What does Layton look like? Is he nice?"

I didn't hear anymore, but does anyone else think "Too much too soon?"

It's happened throughout the ages - fret not, a harlot is doth not make.

LO here and all her friends at nursery are frequently getting married, sharing boyfriends, swapping boyfriends and having quite frank discussions with the boys themselves... quite interesting to hear their views on it all.

They definitely do not mean boys that are friends (they are just 'friends'), but it's also not 'sexual', they find them cute, or nice or funny or gentle or 100 different things - but not sexy, hot or fuckable - so stop fretting.

Mind you, I don't like it when children who wouldn't otherwise be interested in discussing it are badgered by adults about it - that's totally different and odd.
