To let my 5 yr old DS watch The Simpsons?

I think not, but my friend said earlier there was no way she'd let her DC watch it. My exP went at it too.

I know the humour is of an adult nature, but if it's that bad why do channel 4 put it on at 6pm (the same time as ITNG)

And I find some other childrens progs even worse for violence etc.

So, am I the only one who thinks The Simpsons is fine for viewing by an addicted 5 yr old?
