One of guilty pleasures, Billy Joel. I might just pour myself a tonic and gin right now and put on a CD.

brendaAndEddie · 18/06/2009 21:06

brendaAndEddie · 18/06/2009 21:07

starting to listen to him is like looking a word up in a dictionary - you start saying "Ooh yes look at htis ,,did you know" etc

pointydog · 18/06/2009 21:07

joel's music has always made me yawn. Makes me glaze over so that I actually look like joel

brendaAndEddie · 18/06/2009 21:09

The radio 2 thing they had on for his birthday( same day as mine) - he turned 60 to my 21, was really interesting, particulalry his relationship with his first wife who ended up being more manager than spouse.

she was married/cohabiting when he met her and his song always a woman was written about her when she wasnt his.

god that link I did to extremes - ffwd to the last minute

cocolepew · 18/06/2009 21:10

Brenda and Billy has a nice ring to it. He'll write you a shite song as well.
