seriously, this is getting stupid

three threads now, and counting.....

why can they not just go jump off the bridge, save us a lot of bloody angst!!

MNHQ emailed me back when I reported them saying that the OP of both was the same troll, and one of old (didn;t say who mind), one that they knew of and recognised, hence the deleting.

the MIL one in a way was not abusive, altho it had the potential to upset possibly, the dog one however....that one was gonna turn if it hadn;t already.

the thing was, I didn;t recognise the OP in both cases, and being paraniod as I am right now (plus a tad addicted to not have recognised), I searched and rond just the one post per OP......and actually thought it was lola who obviously should be banned.....but broke thru her ban last night as she got onto the boards then!!

tis so damn frustrating, cos sometime soon we are going to ignore all newbies, and that isn;t fair as, as we found on the weekend, lola was a pretty damn huge troll, and was a regular[shokck]!

and yes, herbie, I am wanting to kick now I can again

TrillianAstra · 15/06/2009 22:29

Are you sure you can? Do you kick with the damaged leg, or try to balance on the bad leg while kicking with the good leg?

psychomum5 · 15/06/2009 22:35

well, ackchully..........

my leg was detached really and is now a big wooden chicken proto-type one and is fab for lobbing and kicking just using it like a baseball bat

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 15/06/2009 22:35

Ah, teh chicken leg, Flame did get you in the end then???

TheyCallMeLofty · 15/06/2009 22:39

The more you talk about trolls, the more threads you start and the more attention you give them the more they will do it.

Report
Ignore
And never mention the thread or the troll again .. tis the only way to get rid of them.

This thread is just feeding them

pippibluestocking · 15/06/2009 22:40

What about the "AIBU to feel that my 43 year old successful career woman friend should stop moaning about not being able to conceive" thread - did wonder if that was a troll

psychomum5 · 15/06/2009 22:53

well, no....she was a ted culky earlier when I text and told her my leg was still attached. she had to shelve plans of it she said

lofty, your point??

pippi, that did also seem a little , but she has come back and I am not sure now. has got an awful lots of riled people tho!!

OP posts:
TheyCallMeLofty · 15/06/2009 22:56

I'd have thought my point was clear - by starting this thread you are only encouraging more of what you wish to stop ie trolls

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 07:48

ohno, the point was, you also fed the troll by posting on this just to be a tad condescending.............

OP posts:
Bucharest · 16/06/2009 07:58

I think what's very sad about the recent spate, is that these aren't your common-or-garden trolls who hit and run for a larf.... but people who are creating entire fake personas and stories to draw people in, which they succeed in doing, for days at a time (re the recent DV one) and take such a lot out of the people who are opening up themselves on the threads.... I've gone to sleep at night thinking about some of these women, and wake up and come straight to log on to see how they are....(hmm, maybe time for a life methinks) and then a couple of days later they're outed as trolls....

Pah.

Bucharest · 16/06/2009 08:00

Meant to say, and this all has a knock-on effect on my compassion- haven't even bothered reading the more recent "relationships" threads, as I think, can't be bothered to get all involved again, it's not worth it....which is why I think it's a crying shame that hooooooge threads were deleted, as at least there, even if the OP was a crock of shite, the answers weren't.

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 08:02

I know bucha, thats the saddest thing.......... (and very very )

they must have something intrisnically(sp?) wrong with them to feel such pleasure from it. I mean, normal people have no such needs as they do.......makes you wonder what type of upbringing they had, what type of food they were fed....

ooh, this is what happens to people bought up on a diet of fruitshoots and greggs isn;t it

FairLadyRantALot · 16/06/2009 08:15

YANBU

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 09:24

I know

I am never unreasonable!!

OP posts:
Stayingsunnygirl · 16/06/2009 13:54

Of course you are not unreasonable, psychomum - you are the very epitome of sweet reason, and Mumsnet HQ should hold you up to all members as a shining example of reasonableness.

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 13:56

now that is the creeping type of response I love

OP posts:
Fimbo · 16/06/2009 14:00

Lola the troll, is this LolaTheShowgirl?

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 14:07

drlove8 · 16/06/2009 15:59

feck the trolls! they have "isshoos" ... not our fault theyre a sandwich short of a picnic!

drlove8 · 16/06/2009 16:02

but you do realise that every new poster will be eyed up as a potential "lola" now?... not really fair on new members. will there be "spot lola" nights?, perhaps could replace the bumsex threads on a friday night when we are all pissed bored?

Fimbo · 16/06/2009 16:45

Txt spk thread.

Also have suspicions about another one.

Ho hum.

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 18:15

fimbo, there are txt speak ones, and SHOUTY GET YOUR ATTENTION ones too....if you get my meaning

OP posts:
differentID · 16/06/2009 18:16

psychomum5 · 16/06/2009 18:31

I did report one, but at the moment nothing untoward apart from deafening us all.....
