More a WWYD - would you cull if an FB friend (not a close friend) had joined a pro BNP group?

Gosh yes, I was heartened to see how many of my FB friends had joined Anti-BNP groups.
Would cull those who were pro, without a doubt.

Thank you. The person used to be a Uni friend, was fairly close when in Uni but only because we were in the same lectures etc, never had loads in common. It's been a while now and we aren't really in touch apart from FB.
My first reaction was to get rid but wondered if I was being ott.

I would send them invites to every anti-BNP group going and see if they say anything but I am a bit of a troublemaker.

Less hassle just to remove them.

Yes I did, I had a bit of a giggle first because of the fact she is a single mother on benefits... makes its quite clear she doesnt have a single clue about the BNP's intentions!

Actually I wouldn't just delete her I would write on her wall asking her if she is aware of the BNP's misogynistic policies and the extent of their racist hatred. If she remains a supporter after that I would delete her.

Hmmm - i'd try to educate her tbh rather than cull her. Can't solve a problem by sweeping it under the rug. Surely she shuld be talked to and have a better understanding of what she is supporting. If she responds as a racist bigot then delete as appropriate, but i always think education is better than banishment.

I witnessed someone do this to someone else last week. A friend of mine culled a friend of their as it came out over wall posts that she supported the BNP. My friend then told her that he was getting rid.

ive culled a BNP supprter. twunt i went to school with. he was a moron then, guess he's an even bigger one now. but would def make the cull public.

My friend has just joined one . Think it's more an ignorance of the BNP policies than a belief in their ideals. I've joined the "1,000,000 against the BNP" group. Haven't spoken with my friend yet and am not sure what I'll say when I do.

I second Queenoftheharpies; I've been known to join contentious groups just so I can post my arguments on their wall. Are you sure she's a true follower?

If she is I would cull too.
