I am surprised at what you say, though MissSunny. I have never actually seen a parent bite their child.

pickyvic I would maybe consider doing this if I trusted the school to deal with it proportionalately (sp?), but I think they'd feel duty-bound to call in SS.

Yes, there is something very primitive about biting, compared to smacking, which is why small children and animals do it. I seem to recall reading that in abuse cases there are often bites and cigarette burns (not that I am saying this is what's going on here, but it did spring to mind).
