To think I am going to meet my end being hit by a bike one day!

NOTE this is a lighthearted thread, I hope it doesn't descend into a big argument about cyclists and pedestrians as has happened before!

It's just I have already been hit once before by a cyclist ploughing through a red light, and was luckily unhurt, and then today I was waiting at a zebra crossing, a van had stopped, I was about to step out and a cyclist whizzed across my path at top speed, one second later and OUCH!

So, should I resign myself to an inevitable collision one day?

shocking i know.
add to that last night i drove in the bus lane during the permitted hours. i clearly forgot that even during these times that particular part of the road is the private property of taxi drivers, who explained this to me with finger gestures, flashing lights and beeping horns.
wether on foot or in a car, i'm doing something wrong.

Well only if I can be allowed to believe my DH is going to end his days going under the wheels of a lorry! As he is one of the few cyclists that I know that never use the pavements. Sorry but I wish he would sometimes

Fanjo - not as detailed as mine, though, was it?

And Master, if you're going to try that stick thing practice releasing at the exact moment of penetration otherwise you'll break your wrist.
