To think that male PE teacher should have let my DD be excused from PE for this?

Feel so sorry for her today, she is 13 and has what we think is cystitus (still waiting for test results to see if possible urine infection)

We kept her off yesterday as waiting for GP appoinment plus she is having to run to the loo every 30 mins - 60 mins

But in herself she doesn't feel too bad so we looked at her timetable for today and she woked out that every lesson was near a loo and all teachers were female so she felt comfortable explaining that she may need to nip out mid lesson.

But she had PE this morning out in the playing fields (a very long way away from any loos) so we wrote her a note to her (female) PE teacher asking if she could be excluded.

Turns up today, male teacher is standing in and refuses to excuse her as he doesn't think it is a 'good enough' excuse so she was forced to do PE in quite a lot of pain (she was too embarrassed to ask him to go )

I am bloody cross actually

I hope her teacher gets a good bollocking. Your poor dd. Hope she's on the mend soon.

before you go in all guns blazing, are you SURE she showed the note and was not just too embarrassed to show a male teacher the note, and did PE anyway, then told you he would not excuse her.

not saying yr DD is a liar, just don't want you to make a fool of yourself!

Currymaid, are you my sister? The same happened to her. Apparently some PE teachers think they know more about medical conditions than doctors.

Op, YANBU, offer to shove some razor blades up his cock and see if he fancies a run about. What an arse.

[shock} that even with a note from you she had to do PE.

The PE teacher needs a good telling off and to get cystitis (not sure if man can have it but he would well deserve it!)

Polly - I used to get cystitis when I was a teenager, and your dd has all my sympathy. As far as the teacher is concerned, I'd be making a formal complaint to the Headteacher and the Governors, saying that his treatment of your dd could have resulted in her getting a kidney infection, and that you and particularly she require a written apology from the school and the teacher concerned!

Though I do prefer the lines about peeing neat bleach or razor blades up the willy!!

I hope your dd feels better soon.
