First - yanbu.

Second - my DS is a teenager and a total git most of the time BUT I would be really suprised if he laughed a little boy falling over - sn or not.

I dont think it is typical teen behaviour TBH.

Sulking, slamming, grunting, eating, muttering, sleeping, flouncing, being horrible to your little brothers, smelling a bit off - now they are typical teen behaviours.

YANBU... It's ok to want to smack them as long as you don't see that impulse through!

Most teenagers are Ok on their own, but get them in a group and the behaviour veers downhill fast. I am still seething because I left DS2 and DS3's newish scooters overnight in the school playground by accident (was distracted by DS3 getting v. upset about something and DS1 pestering me about a playdate), anyway, some of the local youths who play footy in the playground after school decided to wreck them and leave them dangling on the basbetball hoops. They must have known they belonged to young kids (due to the characters on them etc.), DS3 was howling when he saw them, just so callous and mean. GRR.

PS. I live in quite a genteel area and it is kids from the local private school who are the main suspects in this incident (and some other vandalism at the school) but unfortunately no witness or I'd have their guts for garters.
