were they warm enough?

flamingtoaster · 07/06/2009 09:25

What a great guy - glad they enjoyed it. I know what ou mean about missing them - it's funny how it can be too quiet!

FruitynNutty · 07/06/2009 09:28

Did you get all that thunder and lightening this morning? That would've been scary in a tent!

piscesmoon · 07/06/2009 09:38

Sounds great!

giraffesCantRunA10k · 07/06/2009 09:40

My dp and ds used to love that!

purepurple · 07/06/2009 10:03

sounds like fun, we used to do this all the time

I was invited this week by one of the children I care for, age 4, to his camp-over in his garden. He said he could invite 3 friends and I was one of them.
I tried to be polite and say I wasn't allowed out all night, rather than say i wouldn't go. He replied that i could stay in the house with his mum.

MumtoCharlieandLola · 07/06/2009 22:50

How did the camping in the garden go Aristocat???

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 07/06/2009 22:55

aristocat my DH did that a couple of weekends ago and both he and dd (3) absolutely loved it. Hope it went well for yours too. It was a trial as he's planning to take both dds in the future for a long weekend. I'm tasting my future freedom.

aristocat · 07/06/2009 22:57

really good thanks DC's loved it
new tent leaked a bit and lantern wouldnt work properly but theyre gonna do it again
