I am bloody sick of it.
If you cannot produce a clean, smooth shit, then at least have the decency to take a bit of loo roll and wipe, don't leave it for others ffs!

And I am talking visitors, not just family. [yuk]

I no wimpo!
In addition to me brush, cleaner and air freshener, I regularly go hands-in under the rim and up that u-bend with a silver scourer.
[How does what's under the rim actually get under the rim? It's really quite grim, some people must defecate like it's a gym)

onepieceofcremeegg · 03/06/2009 19:30

real silver springlamb?

BCNS · 03/06/2009 19:30

see I'd stop the wostits.. I would come into area where said guests are.. after finding offensive skidders.. and say
" whoever left the skidders.. there is a loobrush.. for that very purpose..please go clean!"

I never actually clean loo with loo brush.. it is there for guests skidders.. and is kept in a bucket and disinfected every day!! ewwwwww

StealthPolarBear · 03/06/2009 19:31

springlamb - you ahven't seen any of the famous MN "do you own a loo brush" threads then?
And I was told IWBU at refusing to put my hand beneath the waterline - to me, it's effectively poo soup
Mmm I do so enjoy MNing while eating

PrimulaVeris · 03/06/2009 19:31

eeewwwww springlamb!

Actually as a household we occasionally get sploshings on the underside of the loo seat. Very occasionally on the tiles behind. I blame this on dodgy curries.

SickOSkiddies · 03/06/2009 19:31

Primula, are you my Aunt?

StealthPolarBear · 03/06/2009 19:32

yheah we have that - how on earth do you get sploshings on the loo seat??

SickOSkiddies · 03/06/2009 19:32

Oh, yes, the loo brush threads are worse than weaning, ff/bf and aibu put together.

SickOskiddies, I suggest my dh challenges your aunt to a poo duel

onepieceofcremeegg · 03/06/2009 19:33

Please see my advice above

Primula you may wish to consider a change of diet

SickOSkiddies · 03/06/2009 19:34

Love the idea of a poo off.

My stepson can multi-task. He can wee down the outside of the toilet bowl and then fail to continue attempting to flush the toilet until excrement has disappeared, preferring instead to cover it up with toilet paper in the vain hope that nobody will notice.

PrimulaVeris · 03/06/2009 19:38

Dh has in fact just arrived back from work. He has gone for poo right now. I shall report back if any extreme sploshing

kittycats · 03/06/2009 19:39

My son does this and its usually either just before or while my friends are round!

triggerhappybaby · 03/06/2009 19:43

I forgot to mention my stepson is 21

springlamb · 03/06/2009 19:43

You may draw your own conclusions as to whether my scourer is real silver. However, silver is proven to have antiseptic qualities isn't it...
I spent many years up to my elbows in shit and nappies that my toilet holds no fear for me (probably wouldn't do yours though!).
I suspect perhaps people walk into my toilet, think 'Christ this is clean better not do a squidgy one in here' and make appropriate use of the equipment.
I never partake in toilet brush threads as I am prone to fainting.

bumpsnowjustplump · 03/06/2009 19:55

I have one of the new toilet duck things where you flush it down the loo once you have cleaned it.... Stops all the nasty poo attached to loo brush senario's... boak...

poshsinglemum · 03/06/2009 19:56

Nothing wrong with a loo brush- it should be compulsory to clean up after oneself!

Wilkiepedia · 03/06/2009 20:00

YABU - if you don't provide a loo brush then you CANNOT expect someone to stick their hand in your loo to clean their shit skid. That is even more rank than a loo brush. Just bleach the loo brush weekly FFS!!!

triggerhappybaby · 03/06/2009 20:07

If you have a toilet brush AND wipes, you will find that

a) you can wipe round the seat and bowl edge with the wipey cloth thing

b) drop wipey thing into bowl water

c) insert loo brush into bowl and VOILA! wipey thing sticks to loo brush and you can clear off skid mark without getting it on brush bristles.

d) Simply rotate loo brush quickly but carefully to dislodge wipey cloth and flush.

e) job done.
