im beyond gutted as i have just spent a lot of money decorating my flat too.

does anyone have any idea how long the points allocation processs takes and whether the chances of me getting a house/flat are very slim ?

hi whoops, i hope the agent rings you and you get it sorted.

Another one here who was in the same position, my landlord put my rent up way beyond my means. Homeless officer (unoffically) told me to let them issue eviction notice. As i also suffer from anxiety, i was so stressed. Anyway, they issue eviction notice, stating bailiffs would arrive on certain day. I had to go to county court to ask them to extend bailiffs warrant. That was not as scary as it sounds, as lovely homesless officer lady came with me. It was basically her, me and the magistrate in a small room around the table.

As i had been on the housing list for 5 years, they had upped my points to the maximum, and were desperately trying to find me somewhere they could offer on points, rather than having to make a homeless application. That way, i coult at least have a little choice. I think the timespan between my original notice expiring and actually moving out was something like 6 weeks.

But, here's hoping you wont have to go down that route!
