I don't get most of the abbreviations. examples such as.. ffiw, iyswim, rofl, pmsl??? There are tons more i don't get. Is there something i can click on to inform me!!!???

It particularly irks me when a poster refers to me directly and then uses an abbreviation which when asked they don't explain.

I find it particularly useful if somebody with a name I dont know call me by one of my previous incarnations. Then I KNOW they actually know me, and also gives a clue as to who they are (under the disquise so to speak)
