To lie to DH about what his dinner actually is?

DH is bit of a supermarket snob and hates that I shop in Lidl a lot sometimes.

Tea tonight is marinated turkey breasts from Lidl.

If he asks, AIBU to tell him it's from Asda?

DH is a terrible snob like this too. When we first moved in to this house I found myself rushing down to the local (very small) supermarket looking for something for dinner. All I could find was pretend vegetarian mince so I grabbed it and made bolognese. DH shovelled it in; I never told him - he thinks he loathes all that veggy stuff

I didn't have to lie in the end. He troughed them down without a peep. I thought they were delicious. Am off to recommend them on big / slim / whatever weightloss club as they're free on red on SW.

He thinks he doesn't like anything from Lidl or Aldi. He also thinks he doesn't like turkey so I was all set to say it was chicken. I do wonder sometimes if I treat him like he's my third child.

Tonight I have failed to mention that it was quorn mince and not beef.

So I might be BU but I am not alone
