Everytime I say I've got a problem when doing something her helpful answer is "well don't do it"

For example my car is making stupid noises when I reverse at an angle off my driveway, so she says don't reverse....OK I'll drive forwards into the house?!

Always the bloody same, but then my brother is the same, he told me a bulb had gone in the front lights of my car and when I asked for help he said go to a shop and get a bulb.

This is my first fucking car, I'm not a mechanic.

(disclaimer i am due on so likely taking things a bit more to heart)

My mum say's 'I don't know' to everything I ask her so you are not alone. Parental guidance? What the hell's this??

TheFallenMadonna · 24/05/2009 21:18

Is your brother a mechanic? Or your mum?

juneybean · 24/05/2009 21:19

No but they've been driving a damn sight longer than I have. My brother knows how to change the bulb.

I'm not going to post by stealth but it's different when they want help from me.

Ah, so you are going to post by stealth

Honestly, if it's an ongoing problem then you shouldn't really have chosen two car ones. My mum is possibly the last person I would ask for advice about my car. My brother would be next to last...

juneybean · 24/05/2009 21:24

Well no because I could have stated WHAT I help them with

I only picked two car ones because its stuff that's happened today.

I would prefer my mam to be like FGB and say "I don't know" but she just says "well don't do it" lol

Like I say I am taking things to heart today, I need more ice cream!!!
