Yes, children who have seperated parents ofen don't see one of the parents at all in the week, but still thrive ( though I'm aware the research says two parents together is optimal).

I am now thinking there have been afew weeks where I only saw dd for about 15 mins in morning or not at all and for half an hour in eve..... I suppose I was reassured by knowing I had the weekend and that she was often with her dad and at home.
