To take my employers to the cleaners?

I am working as a butler for a family whom can be fairly difficult to say the least. The master of the house always insists on his coffee being just right and the lady thinks she can throw money at people to solve disputes.

During the recession, the family have cut their staff and I have been given extra duties. I am tired and over worked. Yesterday I had to make "choo choo" noices for master's train set as the sound system was broken. This went on for two hours and then the lady accussed me of playing with trains rather than working.

The final straw came when the master threw bourbon at me and spat in my face after an argument regarding coffee. Lady has since offered me a small sum of money, I wonder if I should take them to the cleaners? Finantially of course, the laundry lady managed to hold on to her position.

Or should I just be glad that I have a job at all in these hard times?

WTF?!

not the best piss take is it?

Must try harder

HairyMuff · 09/05/2009 22:46

How much do you charge? I've always fancied a butler

PaulaAtMummyKnowsBest · 10/05/2009 07:49

take her to the cleaners.

I think the sum offered was £500 wasn't it?

Hardly enough to retire on!

What a terrible trolling effort.
Would be more believable if you could actually spell. Most butlers have at least enough schooling to know that the word "accused" has only one "s" in it.

Try again.

Or rather, please don't.

again this is the opposite of a thread posted the other day from the lady of the house's viewpoint - where she offered him £500 to go away.

Jacksmama · 10/05/2009 16:15

Oh really? Post a link please!! Sounds funny and I need a laugh.

Jacksmama · 10/05/2009 16:16

God, I'd take 500 pounds to go away.

No where would I go?

Hmmm... Jamaica sounds lovely this time of year.
