i'd call them and query that booking fee. the most i've paid has been about £4

BecauseImWorthIt · 03/05/2009 10:26

Where is the theatre? Can you not go to the box office and buy the tickets directly?

Bucharest · 03/05/2009 10:26

That's outrageous- I opened this expecting another Lyingair scam, not the Tweenies! I often go to the cbeebies theatre type things and don't think I've ever paid that much.

ChippyMinton · 03/05/2009 10:26

could you try a different booking site, or try the venue's own box office?

£10 is a shocking fee for a £7 event!

If you go to the cinema:
Bolt is excellent.

Hotel For Dogs is quite good, if she watches non-animated films.

Monsters Vs Aliens is fantastic. My youngest is 5 so I'm not sure if a 3yr old would find it scary, although as far as I remember there were no scary bits.

Morn thats pants! im new to this netmums thing im near Bath and the cinema there and others around the country do a week day cinema specifically aimed at parents with children, all very kid friendly and cheap in comparsion to theatre tickets. Too be honest would they sit still for the whole show? I know I would be a bit upset spending alot of money on something they wont sit still for ha ha you know what they are like.

Or how about, you rent a movie or buy on ( then you can watch over and over again) Choose it together, cook a pizza, buy popcorn, shut the curtains, grab the quilt off the bed and make it your own movie experience? sometimes its the quaily time they want sorry I dont know if DD is a girl or boy? so cant advise on the movie x my eldest 4 1/2 is really girlie so likes cinderella but her younger sister likes monsters inc! I also have a boy but only 15 months but attention span of a goldfish ha ha

Did you phone today? Most theatre Box Offices are closed on a Sun, and will be tomorrow (Bank Hol).
