OK so I know with 3 kids under 20 months I'm never gonna get much but DP has been sound asleep for 8 hours now - undisturbed - much the same as the night before.
I let him lie in last week til 10am - I hadnt even noticed the time tbh as was so busy. Thought I'd at least get a lie in in return - 6.45! I had to get up then as DS1 was downstairs getting up to all sorts whilst DP slept (soundly) on the sofa!!

Shut bedroom door and go back to bed.
If DS gets up to all sorts leave DH to deal with it! If he falls asleep and DS makes an enormous mess then he'll have to clean it up when he wakes up!

If you get up because you think DH cant do it, then he'll never do it tbh

agree with iheartNY unless you think he's actaully in danger then go back to ebd and let dh sort it. Get some ear plugs too

i have been up with dd since 7, dh is still in bed. To be fair, I had my chance yesterday but her let her be so noisy I couldn't get back to sleep.

Erm you should take it in turns to sleep in at the weekend and the one who gets to sleep in does night duty.

Ditch the whole lie in idea for both of you for a while. If ones up you're both up looking after the kids. Do this regardless of whether he works and you stay home (or vice versa as in our house) as you both WORK HARD. If he won't do this, send the kids into the bedrooom so there's no chance of him sleeping. Do this for a while, then gradually introduce alternate lie ins - trust me he will be soooo grateful by then you'll have no trouble with him.
