There is a man who lives across the road from us who insists on parking at the side of my house, on the pavement right up to my side fence. He is a pita tbh, as he blocks the whole pavement which means people have to walk on the road to get past his car. Several people have politely asked him to be more considerate over the years but he never listens to anyone.

DS loves playing football but always plays in our garden. this morning he was in the garden playing and he must have done a very hard kick because he accidently kicked the ball over the side fence, which is 7ft high. the ball bounce on the roof of neighbours car but didn't cause any damage at all.

A few minutes later the man is banging on my front door and yelling about phoning the police if it happens again!

I know its not great to have a ball hit your car but I can't help thinking its his own blooming fault and serves him right for being so inconsiderate when he parks his car

I've phoned the police and somebody is surpose to be phoning me back but not heard anything yet

I have also taken a picture as suggested, I hung out of the landing window and got a really good one. Was worried about doing it in the street in case he comes out and has a go.

DD was telling me the other day that he was moaning at her and her friend to 'watch the car' when they tried to squeeze past it on their scooters.

Seems to be a bit of a thing round here for packing on pavememnts as the roads are narrow but it can be done without blocking the pavement.

When DC were very small I had a double buggy. Somebody parked outsiide my house so close to the gate that I couldn't wheel the buggy out of the garden!! I was very tempted to 'accidently' scratch the car on my way past!
