I have stopped myself posting this because I have wondered whether the recipe provider herself has written the description each time, and I don't want to offend an individual.
But compare this attractive, yet, well, normal description from JackBauer on the recipes page:
"I love these cereal bars, every time I have a last few browning bananas I rustle up some of these which go out with us to the park, or for a snacky breakfast if we haven't had time. I also used them as outside snacks when BLWing both my DD's as you can cut them into fingers and they hold together quite well."
to the one on the main page:
"easy-peasy flapjacky treats to use up browning bananas the kids won't touch. As it's just mash, mix and bake, your little ones could make them with you. Great for a May Day picnic - or a perk-em-up nibble in the rain. "
Does anyone else find their skin crawling at People's Friend-like phrases such as "perk-em-up nibble in the rain."?
Disclaimer: JackBauer, if you actually DID write the second description yourself, I unreservedly apologise, grovel in a dejected fashion and respectfully suggest you ought to be a journalist
